A song after Darshan's heart
Director Dharmesh Darshan has always been known for the melodious tracks of his movies. However, for once, it was his turn to be floored by music. Music of his movie Raja Hindustani is a case in point. Before the release of the film itself, the music was already a roaring success. And it was selling like hot cakes every - where. Dharmesh recalls an interesting anecdote from that time, "Once I was sitting at home, and I heard a flute player playing the song, Pardesi pardesi jana nahin nearby. I was so thrilled, I searched for him and called him inside. Then I asked him where he had heard the music. He said, 'Arre, saab, don't tell me you haven't heard it! It's a very popular song from Aamir Khan and Karisma Kapoor's film. I laughed and bought all his flutes," says Dharmesh. Well, that was one happy flute player, we bet - and not to forget a very pleased filmmaker, too!
