Kareena plays the other woman
After making hard-hitting films like Chandni Bar and Satta, Madhur Bhandarkar is ready with Page 3. A critique on the glamour world, this Konkona Sen Sharma starrer is one of the keenly awaited releases of 2005. Now Madhur is planning his next venture, titled Extraa. "This film has nothing to do with Bollywood," says Madhur. So, what is Extraa all about? "It is written from the point of view of a mistress, the other woman. It's a film based on relationships," he says. Although the cast has not been finalised, there's speculation that he's considering casting either Kareena Kapoor (she was the first choice for Page 3), Rani Mukerji or Tabu for the role in question. While Madhur is keeping mum about his decision, speculation is rife in the industry about the role in question. People are wondering who will make a better mistress, on screen of course?
