P3 gets standing ovation!
After Chandni Bar, Madhur Bhandarkar seems to have hit the bull's eye yet again. This time, it's his latest offering, Page 3.The movie has been appreciated both by the critics and the movie buffs. And, during the screening of the film at the recent Pune festival, Madhur, his producer Bobby Pushkarna and the star cast, headed by Konkona Sen, got a real ego boost. "Though I made a decent film, I was taken aback by the applause it got in Pune. After the screening, the audience stood up and gave us a standing ovation," says Madhur and adds, "I was humbled and moved by the entire experience." And those who have seen the movie (including us) can't stop raving about the lead actress, Konkona Sen's performance. The general performance. The general verdict is that the talented young lady has outshone herself - and this, after her class act in Mr And Mrs Iyer. That is far bettr than just being someone from Page 3, it not?
