Malaika gets into the groove
Malaika Arora will soon be seen shaking booty with Shahrukh in Kaal and she has only Koena Mitra to thank for that. Well the Saqi sizzler apparently refused the Kaal Dhamal number! When we called Malaika to confirm the reports she told us, "Karan's office approached me and I just could not say 'no' to the offer. I also had the chance to shake a leg with Shah Rukh Khan with whom I had done Chaiyya chaiyya in Dil Se... way back in 1998. We share a great rapport and he is always a delight to work with. I can't forget that he also gave me the biggest hit I have had as an item girl. I have no ego hassles about doing a song which had been offered to someone elso before. I don't ever ask who was offered roles/songs I have rejected. Koena must have had her reasons to say 'no'. I have no problems if someone calls me an ' item girl'. I enjoy what I do and have no pretensions."
