Big B- The Perfect Daddy?
When director Vipul Shah first related the script of Waqt to Akshay Kumar, the actor was so thrilled by the father-son relationship portrayed in the story that he immediately decided to allot bulk dates to the film. Of course, with Amitabh Bachchan playing daddy, there was no way he could refuse the project. Interestingly, Akshay claims that he hardly had to act in the film - he was actually being himself, because his relationship with his screen father reminded him of his real life relationship with his own dad. The film has made him see Big B in a different light personally and professionally. We wonder what Bachchan must be thinking about the doting son he has suddenly acquired!
