In tune with reality
With reality shows striking high TRPs on the small screen, filmmakers couldn't be far behind when it comes to cashing in on the wave, could they? "Reality shows are the future," agrees Kushan Nandy, whose film Hum Dum, based on a reality game show, has just been released. "The Hollywood film, The Truman Show si a good example of this kind of cinema. The Jim Kerry starrer hasn't inspired my film but is perhaps the only one that comes close to the genree." Apparently, the lead pair in the film is asked to choose between love and money. Which one would you pick?
