Urmila's supernatural connection
One actress who literally revels in standing apart from the crowd when it comes to film roles is Urmila Matondkar. After winning accolades for films such as Kaun and Ek Hasina Thi, the actress is doing a hatke role in her next film too. "My next release is Naina, which is a supernatural thriller," she tells us. When we asked her if she prefers doing 'ghostly' roles these days, she patiently replies, "No, it's nothing like that. To tell you the truth, I have not done many 'ghostly' stories. I've just done Bhoot about a year ago, but because of the kind of roles I pick, it looks like I've only been doing either 'ghostly' or 'psycho' films." Point taken, Urmila. Not that we mind those eerie scenes: And incidentally, with the pretty lady being nominated for the Best Actress in the Filmfare Awards for her performance in Ek Hasina Thi, we think she's doing a pretty good job of it, too!
