Payal's story of 32 kisses
Sleaze is not enough to describe the extent to which producers greedy for box office hits can go to. The classic example is of a soon-to-be-released film Laila - A Mystery directed by Vicky G. The press release of the film boasts of nothing beyond Payal Rohatgi's record-breaking smooches, being 32 at the last count. The release reads exactly like this "Payal Rohatgi breaks Mallika's record kisses... she has given 32 smooches, well ahead of Mallika Sherawat's 17 in Khwahish". Of course pat comes the director's excuse "these smooches are just a demand of the story line." Well, we'll have to wait for the film to be released to find out if they set the screen afire.
