Shilpa does a Lara Croft!
Created as a computer game and then brought to screen-life by Angelina Jolie, Lara Croft, certainly has a lot of admirers in Bollywood. While many actresses would give an arm and a leg for great action roles, it is none other than Shilpa Shetty, who is perhaps going to be the first to break new grounds on that front. "It was simply great shooting for Dus, where I have performed some great stunts," the leggy actress tells us. "The film has male actors performing stunts and I was the only woman among them. Once, I landed up on the sets and saw harnesses and wires hanging about. When action director Allen Amin told me that those were all for me, I almost fell down! They wanted me to jump high, like they do in films like The Matrix and Charlie's Angels. I somehow managed and now I'm excited about how the audience will respond to it!" Well, whatever the audience says, we'll certainly notch up one more for the women's side, what say?
