Taking her role as an ambassador for people for the Ethical Treatment of Animals seriously, Shilpa has sent a letter to Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh urging him to ban the Russian Circus, which is scheduled to come to Mumbai shortly. "Circuses are no fun for the animal. They do not naturally ride bicycles, stand on their heads of jump through the ring of fire. Whips, electric pods and other tools are used to force the animals to perform," she says in her letter. Great start for a revolutionary movement!
