Negar to set Taj Mahal a fire
Negar Khan, who is currently in the storm of work permit controversy, has shot for an unusual "erotic item song" for Akbar Khan's historic film Taj Mahal An Eternal Love Story. Although it's a guest appearance, Akbar Khan is impressed by Negar. "She is a disciplined artist and a fantastic person to work with," he says. "We needed a royal looking girl who also had some oomph. The princess was from Iran and since Negar is also from Iran, she was a perfect fit for the role," he adds. Negar plays the role of Princess Kandahari. She also has a song in the film sung by classical singer Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty. "The character of the princess is not well known in history, but Negar is sure to create Bollywood history," insists Khan.
