The use of animals in films has always been a controversial issue. Naturally, Karan Johar's next production, Kaal, was mired in controversy when reports claimed that certain scenes had been shot using animals. However, when we spoke to lead actor, Ajay Devgan, he was quick to deny the allegations of any ill-treatment to animals. "Let me assure you that we haven't shot with animals in India for Kaal," revealed Ajay. "Whatever shots were taken with animals have been done aborad, under the guidance of experts and professionals, and the animals have definitely not been ill treated." Coming from an animal lover like Ajay, we think there's no need for any concern on that count!
