Lara's grouse
Having her photographs plastered all over Mumbai on the Gladrags hoardings has miffed ex-Miss Universe Lara Dutta beyond measure. Technically as a winner of the 1995 Gladrags Megamodel title, Dutta has no reason to be upset with Gladrags for using her to promote their contest. Ex winners are unofficially considered as brand ambassadors by the organisers. A close friend of the actress reveals that "Gladrags never really promoted her after the contest and she got recognition only after she won Miss India and Miss Universe, so it's wrong for them to take credit for her success." Lara has decided to send them a letter stating her grievances, but it's not clear whether it's a legal notice or a personal letter.
