Mom's the world for Karisma, Kareena is Aunty Number 1
If you thought I was beautiful, watch out! Thus warns Kareena Kapoor. "My niece has surpassed me. I have never seen a beauty like her. Her lips are just like mine - hot," says the Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor, speaking with Delhi Times shortly after her sister Karisma delivered a baby girl at Breach Candy Hospital on Friday.
Bebo (Kareena) says everyone in the Kapoor family is happy that the baby is a girl. "While growing up, it was just the three of us - my mother and us two sisters. We were anchors for each other. I am glad there is one more addition to the family."
The Kapoor family, reveals Bebo, went through a gamut of emotions. "Dad cried a lot. I've never seen him crying like this before. Sanjay was with Lolo throughout in the labour room," she informs. But what added more joy was the presence of Kareena's boyfriend Shahid Kapoor at the hospital. "It was a very special moment for me as Shahid was there right through. He kept on clicking pictures of the baby on his camera phone. He even held the baby. This whole incident brought him closer to my family, specially my sister," reveals Kareena.
The thrill of becoming a mausi has made the actress take a month off from work now. "Karisma will be with us in Mumbai now. Right now, there is no specific name for the baby. Some of us call her Baby, others call her Jaan."
