Kool kitten Neha tickles you pink
It might be too early yet, but by the looks of it sex isn't selling at the box-office anymore. Consider the list of skin shows which have crashed at the box-office of late: Sheesha, Fun, Tauba Tauba, Sins. But quiz Neha Dhupia on how she feels about the recent debacle of Sheesha and the actress sounds unfazed: "No one is calling Sheesha a flop yet, it's doing okay throughout the country. Of course, if people were to compare it with Julie then yes, Sheesha isn't a hit."
In fact, Neha's screen chemistry with co-star Sonu Sood seemed so authentic that reportedly producer Guddu Dhanoa promptly signed them up for his next film, Siskiyan. But Neha firmly nixes rumours of an affair: "Sonu is someone with whom I share a comfort level but that's all there is to it. I don't have a boyfreind, right now nothing but my work takes priority."
The sexy siren tag has started worrying Neha. "I don't want to be typecast as a sexy actress so soon. I think Sheesha has been an eye-opener of sorts and I don't want to flaunt my figure in film after film, no matter what the script demands."
As if to make a point to film-makers/ critics/ fans, Neha lets her hair down in a comedy. In Balaji Telefilms' next Kya Kool Hain Hum she doesn't "even wear figure hugging outfits. It's a complete laugh riot directed by Sangeeth Sivan and has Ishaa Koppikar as the other female lead. After Qayamat, Julie and Sheesha, I've been itching to do a fun film sometime now."
