Activism, Shilpa style
Shilpa Shetty is one happy woman these days. Some time back she had written to the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, urging him to look into the fact that the managers of the Russian Circus were picking up animals from their natural habitat and forcing them to live in cages barely bigger than their size. All this, even though the Animal Welfare Board of India had not given them permission to perform. The shows have since been stopped. Bravo Shilpa.
