If you haven't forgotten the nasheeley aankhonwali Dimple from Raj Kapoor's Bobby, or the nymph-like beauty from Saagar, well, it's about time to see the gorgeous lady in a new avatar. It's nothing sensual, or even remotely titillating - but, yes, it is a Dimple who is as poignant as ever and with a character that will touch your heart and soul. In her next film, Being Cyrus, the actress plays a Parsi lady. Probably for the first time. Her co-star Naseeruddin Shah, who plays her husband, has done a Pestonjee in the past, but for Dimple this will be the first of its kind. Those who have seen snatches of the film claim that she plays the character of the Parsi woman to sheer perfection. And this will probably be one of the best performances of her career. Well, with an actress like her, expectations are always so high - after all, being Dimple ain't simple. Right?
